Keiko dons a disguise and with the help of a friend’s brother seeks to take down Doris Jenkins, the manager of the Maui Shores Retirement home. And someone comes back to town to terrorize her. Once again, Kay Hadashi delivers a story with lots of twists and turns.
I’m looking forward to reading the next in this series.
Kay Hadashi is a fantastic writer. I am a Hawaii born and raised fan. Her history and location descriptions are spot on. Great read .
Wordy no flow
Unrealistic to the point of being nonsensical. Hard to imagine any actual humans behaving like any of these characters. I quit reading after it described a twenty-something virgin had enjoyed being gang raped in a semi-conscious state. Not much offends me but that did.
I want to be supportive of self-published authors and I read a lot of self-pubbed books but this just didn't cut it for me. Sorry.
I love a strong central character who can overcome obstacles. Kay Hadashi is excellent at writing these types of women. She is also good at writing the good guys and especially the bad guys that support them. Wonderful plotting with great twists and turns. I never saw it coming at the end of this one. I can hardly wait to find out what Keiko gets up to next!
Exciting! Can't wait for book #3. Could've benefited from more proofreading, though.
I enjoyed this series very much. It was a fun read. Like all the characters and Keiko is very cool!!Love all the Hawaii references.
